June 7: Shavuot (Pentecost)

– Unique Offering

God required a very special offering on this holiday. It has a great spiritual and prophetic meaning. The offering was to contain leaven.

Leviticus 23:17, 20

Bring two loaves of bread that are made with seven pounds of the finest flour. They must be baked with yeast. Bring them to me as a wave offering from the first share of your crops. That applies no matter where you live.  The priest must lift up the two lambs and wave them in front of me as a wave offering. He must offer them together with the bread made out of the first share of your crops. They are a sacred offering to the Lord. They will be given to the priest.

The Bible compares leaven to sin.  No offering was to be blemished or contain leaven, except this one.

PRAY ISRAEL WILL RECOGNIZE THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS UNIQUE OFFERING.
