Yeshua vs The Man of Sin
We’ve seen that Satan’s greatest tool is deception. Since he cannot create, all he can do is copy what God (YHWH) has done. Scripture describes YHWH by the Hebrew word אֶחָד [echad] which, in English grammar, is a compound unity.
Today we commonly use the word “Trinity” to describe the triune nature of God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Thus it is not surprising that Satan would develop a false “Trinity:”
YHWH cf Satan
God the Son cf the Anti-Christ
God the Holy Spirit cf the false prophet
Scripture has several names for the one who opposes Christ and tries to deceive the world into believing he is God.
Anti-Christ (1 John 4:3)
Man of sin (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
Son of perdition (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
PRAY FOR ISRAEL TO DISCERN THE TRUTH ACCORDING TO GOD’S WORD.
