On the first day of the feast, the Jewish people have a tradition called “Tashlich” based on God’s promise to “cast their sins into the sea.” For more information on this tradition see: www.celebratethefeasts.org/
Not coincidentally the rabbis tell us that Rosh Hashanah is the day when we coronate God as King of the Universe.
They might be right, for other reasons as well; I suggest this holiday IS about the King of Israel.
“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God.
In this holiday we see the King of Israel and His Redeemer are one.
PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM AND FOR ISRAEL TO PREPARE FOR THE COMING OF THE KING!
