September 26: The Fall Feasts

– A Time to Repent

Job 42:5-6

“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You.

Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”

The Hebrew word for repent is נָחַם [nä·kham’] and means “to be sorry, regret, suffer grief.”  It is also used for “comfort” which is the result of God’s forgiveness.

PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM AND FOR ISRAEL TO RECOGNIZE AND REPENT OF HER SIN.
