Overlooking Jerusalem today is a church called, Dominus Flevit Church which means “The Lord Wept.” Designed by an Italian architect named Antonia Barluzzi, the site of the church is traditionally believed to be the place where Jesus wept over the city.
God’s mercy and faithfulness to the Jews, His “chosen ‘people,” is evidenced by His promise to return at their invitation.
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
PRAY FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE TO SEE AND RECOGNIZE YESHUA, THEIR SAVIOR.
