November 9: Christian Anti-Semitism

As we learn the history we have to ask ourselves, “Will we, who love and pray for Israel, accept any responsibility to break the spiritual strongholds that have been created over the years?”

Perhaps the answer come from the Apostle Paul in his letter to the church in Rome. He indicates that the Gentiles DO have a responsibility as a result of their privilege of salvation.  They can then share in the joy of seeing Israel saved.

Romans 11:11-15

I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!

For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead. (NKJV)

Daniel was a righteous man yet identified so much with his fellow Jews that he included himself as he repented for their sins.  This is called, “Identification intercession.”

Our second goal for this series is to educate followers of Yeshua of the 2000+ years of anti-Jewish rhetoric that, sadly, came from many to claimed the name of Yeshua.

PRAY FOR THE BODY OF YESHUA TO FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF DANIEL AND REPENT FOR THE SINS DONE IN THE NAME OF YESHUA.

Joan, I am asking for prayer for a cousin and her husband, I just recently am in touch after not being in contact for sometime. Their names are Aurice and husband Thomas Fischer Weiss, he is retired after teaching at MIT, I know nothing about their spirituall lives, Aurice is in a nursing facility at North Hill, she is quite disabled , they lived in the Boston area for many years and Tom lives in an apartment near North Hill. I have not seen them for many years at a family reunion in Texas. Pray for someone in that part of the country to reach out to them if possible. Of course they are in my age, I am Wilma, Grace Community Church, Madera, Ca, age 89 years . Blessings.
