PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM
Sundown begins the month of Kislev on the Hebrew calendar. God commands that we blow the silver trumpets on this feast day. We love to praise and pray.
Psalm 100
Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.
The command to “make a joyful shout” is rendered by a single Hebrew word: הָרִיעוּ (ha ru ah). It comes from the root רוּעַ 9rü·ah’ (rü·ah’) which is used in Leviticus 23:24. So what? This is the name of the holiday we just celebrated, Yom Truah (the Feast of the Memorial shout/blowing).
PRAY FOR ISRAEL AND THAT ALL PEOPLE WOULD WORSHIP THE LORD GOD OF ISRAEL.
