– Anti-Semitism Before Yeshua
The battle between Yeshua and Satan is reflected on the earth by the hatred of the Gentiles against the Jews. This hatred is commonly called, “anti-semitism,” but since Arabs are also Semites, the more accurate term is “anti-Jew.”
We see anti-Jewish hatred in the pages of Bible by the attempts to annihilate the Jewish people by the Pharaoh of Egypt, Haman and then Herod:
So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, “Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.” . (NKJV)
When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath. But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. Instead, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus—the people of Mordecai. (NKJV)
Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying:
“A voice was heard in Ramah,
Lamentation, weeping, and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children,
Refusing to be comforted,
Because they are no more.” (NKJV)
We see that God had told Jeremiah such a tragedy would happen. But Satan could not stop the plan of God, He saved His servant, Moses.
PRAY FOR ALL THOSE WHO LOVE YESHUA TO HAVE GOD’S LOVE FOR ISRAEL AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE.
