The Rapture: Watch with Trust and Faith
The Hebrew prophets proclaimed God’s warning that He would judge the world. Over and over the prophets begged the people to turn from their sins but they would not. Despite the warnings, God did bring discipline, and yet Israel reacted with surprise.
“And it shall be, when you show this people all these words, and they say to you, ‘Why has the Lord pronounced all this great disaster against us? Or what is our iniquity? Or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God?’
The same is true today; people ignore the warnings to turn away from their sin and instead choose to believe that have plenty of time.
But God is still warning that His final judgement will come suddenly.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-2
But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
Let’s be honest,
we are ALL distracted by other issues, issues that we believe are more important than our relationship with God
and our eternal future.
1 Thessalonians 5:3
For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman.
PRAY FOR ISRAEL TO BE ALERT TO THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES AND REPENT.
