November 18: Righteousness

God judges righteousness by our relationship with Him and our treatment of others.  If our relationship with Him is right, we will treat others with righteousness. He can determine standards of righteousness because He is the Lord.

Sadly, Israel today fears the judgement of man rather than the judgement of God.

Leviticus 19:14-16

You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but shall fear your God: I am the Lord.

You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor. You shall not go about as a talebearer among your people; nor shall you take a stand against the life of your neighbor: I am the Lord.

PRAY FOR ISRAEL’S GOVERNMENT LEADERS THAT THEY WILL GOVERN WITH THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD.
