And David says:
“Let their table become a snare and a trap,
A stumbling block and a recompense to them.
Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see,
And bow down their back always.”
Although out of historical sequence first Paul references Isaiah’s pleading with Israel, then Moses, and now David. God’s unfailing love continuously gives Israel opportunities to recognize and seek His grace through faith.
Let their table become a snare before them,
And their well-being a trap.
Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see;
And make their loins shake continually.
PRAY FOR THE SALVATION OF ISRAEL.
