When read in its entirety, the Psalmist cries to the Lord who seems to have turned His face from Israel. Only when we have an intimate relationship with the Lord are we inconsolable when He seems far away.
Today Israel tries desperately to fill that hole, a void that only Yeshua can fill.
I cried out to God with my voice—
To God with my voice;
And He gave ear to me.
In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord;
My hand was stretched out in the night without ceasing;
My soul refused to be comforted.
I remembered God, and was troubled;
I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah (NKJV)
PRAY ISRAEL WILL SEEK GOD’S FACE IN TIMES OF TROUBLE.
