David’s words echo throughout time. Who among us hasn’t felt so anxious, stressed and uptight, that it’s almost hard to breathe? Sometimes we just feel that death itself is closing in. Yeshua uttered very similar words as He sung Psalm 116 at His final Passover with His disciples.
Psalm 18: 4-6
The pangs of death surrounded me,
And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me;
The snares of death confronted me.
In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.
The answer for David, for Yeshua and for Israel is to cry and call upon the Lord God of Israel.
PRAY FOR ISRAEL TO CRY TO GOD IN FAITH THAT HE WILL DELIVER.
