It is a challenge for some Christians to accept God’s promises to Israel when she remains in such spiritual rebellion.
But God is faithful, His promises are literal and His unique relationship with Israel has never changed.
Paul reminds us how that relationship has been manifested in the past so that we can trust the rest of God’s promises for her future.
[The} Israelites to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Messiah came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.
It’s vital to the health of the church that all followers of Yeshua understand and appreciate this unique relationship between God and Israel. Notice that this relationship is based on God’s choice of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob…not on the “specialness” of the Jewish people.
PRAY THAT THE CHURCH OF YESHUA UNDERSTAND AND APPRECIATE GOD’S UNIQUE RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL.
