October 21: God’s Unique Relationship with Israel

INTRODUCTION

Once again we’re going to pray the same Scripture for several days, but each time from a different perspective.  This week’s passage gives us God’s promise for a glorious future, for Israel and for the nations.

From the beginning God wanted all people to know and worship Him, thus the Temple – the House of the Lord was to be “A House of Prayer for ALL Nations.”

God’s Unique Relationship with Israel: October 21

Isaiah 2:1-2

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days
that the mountain of the Lord’s house
 shall be established on the top of the mountains,
and shall be exalted above the hills;
and all nations shall flow to it.

From the beginning God wanted all people to know and worship Him, thus the Temple – the House of the Lord – was to be “A House of Prayer for ALL Nations.”  His “choice” of Israel was to be a “Light to the nations.”

 THANK GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS AND THE CLARITY OF HIS WORD.
