January 2: Redemption & Salvation

Since there is nothing more important than Israel’s redemption and salvation, that will be our focus for the rest of this first week of 2014.

Psalm 119:41

Let Your mercies come also to me, O Lord—
Your salvation according to Your word.

It’s good to be reminded of these two important Hebrew words:

Mercy: חֶסֶד [hesed] meaning God’s covenantal, faithful love.

Salvation: תְּשׁוּעָה [tesh·ü·ä’] from the same root from which we get the Hebrew name of Jesus, Yeshua.

This verse reflects the Psalmist’s trust in God’s promise that God would become the atonement for the sins of Israel and the world. This promise was fulfilled in Yeshua.

PRAY ALL ISRAEL WILL RECOGNIZE AND RECEIVE GOD’S SALVATION THROUGH MESSIAH YESHUA.

Thank you Joanie for being on the Lords side.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus wishes all would worship God the father continuously.
God will bless you richly 🙂
