February 3: Christian Anti-Semitism – International Rejection

International Rejection

God’s promise and warning to the world was clear:

Genesis 12:3

I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you. (NKJV)

In like manner, Yeshua said:

Matthew 25:40

And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’(NKJV)

And yet, when the nations had the opportunity to rescue Jews from Hitler’s hell, they refused.

The most infamous case was of the St. Lewis.

With the encouragement of Nazi Germany 937 Jews were expelled, and boarded a luxury cruise liner St Louis. They had been given landing visas for Havana, Cuba with the promise of visas to USA upon arrival.  The situation in Cuba changed and so did the plan and the refugees were refused.

The ship turned to the USA who likewise refused them refuge. The USA was just coming out of the Great Depression and there was fear for American jobs.

Finally, through intense negotiations with various European countries, some accepted the refugees, many were sent to the gas chambers.

Renounce the lie:

“We want to practice Christian love toward them and pray that they convert,” but they are our public enemies … and if they could kill us all, they would gladly do so. And so often they do.” (Martin Luther)

Replace with truth

Psalm 91:1-4

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler[a]
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
(NKJV)
