Too often the messenger becomes the focus of attention rather than the message. Perhaps that is why the Bible calls attention to the feet of the proclaimer; probably the least attractive part of the body!
The beauty is in the Gospel of Peace and each of us have the privilege and mandate to proclaim it!
As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”
Paul references two of Israel’s prophets who proclaimed God’s redemption and salvation that would come through the Messiah.
How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”
Behold, on the mountains
The feet of him who brings good tidings,
Who proclaims peace!
O Judah, keep your appointed feasts,
Perform your vows.
For the wicked one shall no more pass through you;
He is utterly cut off.
PRAY ALL WHO KNOW YESHUA WILL PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL TO ISRAEL.
