As we continue through Paul’s letter, we must keep in mind his passion and concern that Israel hears, understands and believes the Gospel of Yeshua.
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
This verse begins with a little but important Greek word, οὖν [ü’n] that can be translated by, “therefore,” “consequently,” or “these things being so.”
Paul’s argument is that all people are saved, justified, redeemed by God’s grace through faith in Yeshua:
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Paul is asking a logical question…how can Israel call, (trust, petition, hope in) Yeshua whom they had never known or even heard about?
PRAY ISRAEL WILL HEAR AND RESPOND TO THE GOSPEL MESSAGE.
