February 20: God’s unique relationship with Israel

Ezekiel continues

At first the Jews were usually welcomed in their new countries, but eventually they were persecuted and forced to leave. Ezekiel warns there will be continued persecution of the Jews as they travel from one nation to another.

 Ezekiel 12:15-16

“Then they shall know that I am the Lord, when I scatter them among the nations and disperse them throughout the countries. But I will spare a few of their men from the sword, from famine, and from pestilence, that they may declare all their abominations among the Gentiles wherever they go. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”

God always has a purpose.  His discipline of Israel is to bring Israel back to Himself and to reveal His character to the Gentiles.

PRAY FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE TO BECOME UNCOMFORTABLE LIVING AMONG THE NATIONS.

Oskar Schindler was a German industrialist, spy, and member of the Nazi Party who is credited with saving the lives of 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust by employing them in his enamelware and ammunitions factories, which were located in occupied Poland and the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
