The next word is “justification” or “justified.” This word comes from the same “group” as righteousness.
…all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace being justified freely by His grace…
Justification Using the same Hebrew and Greek words for “righteous” and “justification” seems to imply these words have the same meaning. But not for Paul.
Paul uses justification in a legal sense, as the acquittal of guilt. He uses righteousness in reference to a godly character.
Justification is immediate through faith in Yeshua, but righteousness is process.
PRAY FOR ISRAEL’S JUSTIFICATION THROUGH FAITH IN YESHUA THE MESSIAH.
