February 15: Israel’s Redemption and Salvation

In order to reap a good harvest, the ground needs to be prepared.  Israel’s heart needs to be softened just as fallow ground needs to be broken.

Jeremiah 4:3-4

For thus says the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem:

“Break up your fallow ground,
And do not sow among thorns.
Circumcise yourselves to the Lord,
And take away the foreskins of your hearts.

When the ground is prepared and the message is proclaimed, there will be a great harvest!

Matthew 13:8-9

But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

Psalm 126:5-6

Those who sow in tears
Shall reap in joy.
He who continually goes forth weeping,
Bearing seed for sowing,
Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
Bringing his sheaves with him.

REJOICE IN GOD’S PROMISE THAT ALL ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED.
