Because of Israel’s continued rebellion, the Lord told Isaiah to warn the people. Despite God’s love for Israel and His desire to see her accept Him by faith, He was putting a veil of blindness over their hearts.
9 And He said, “Go, and tell this people:
‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand;
Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’
10 “Make the heart of this people dull,
And their ears heavy,
And shut their eyes;
Lest they see with their eyes,
And hear with their ears,
And understand with their heart,
And return and be healed.”
The veil of blindness was temporary until the “times of the Gentiles” would be complete. Since we don’t know when that will happen, we be faithful to proclaim God’s message.
PRAY FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE TO OPEN THEIR EARS AND THEIR HEARTS TO YESHUA.
