Messiah’s Eternal Reign
(8th candle of Hanukkah)
Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
It shall come to pass in that day that there will be no light; the lights will diminish.
It shall be one day which is known to the Lord— neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen that it will be light.
And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea; in both summer and winter it shall occur.
And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be— “The Lord is one,” and His name one.
“Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.
I have sworn by Myself; the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath. He shall say, ‘Surely in the Lord I have righteousness and strength.
God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
